Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Who we are

CyprusHome (“we”, “us”) operates cyprushome.uk, a private, invite-only aggregator of residential and commercial property listings in Cyprus. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the platform, why, and what rights you have.

2. Data we collect

Account data. When you sign in we receive your e-mail address and basic profile information from our authentication provider (Auth0). Access requires an invite code; we store which invite was used and when.

Usage data. We keep standard server logs (IP address, requested pages, timestamps, user-agent) for security and reliability purposes, and aggregate view counters on listings. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers.

Content you submit. If you save favourites, saved searches, reviews or, for agency accounts, property listings and photos, we store that content to provide the service.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary, first-party cookies:

  • mp_session keeps you signed in after passing the invite gate.
  • Authentication cookies set by Auth0 during sign-in.
  • A language preference, if you switch the interface language.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not load third-party analytics scripts.

4. Listing data

Property listings shown on the platform are aggregated from publicly available sources and from agencies that publish through their CyprusHome account. Agent names, phone numbers and agency names shown on listing pages originate from the source listing. If you are an agent and want a listing corrected or removed, contact us and we will process the request promptly.

5. Legal basis and retention

We process account and content data to perform our contract with you, and logs on the basis of legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention). Server logs are rotated on a short schedule; account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request.

6. Sharing and transfers

Data is processed on servers in the European Economic Area. We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service (hosting, authentication) under their respective data-processing terms. We never sell personal data.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@cyprushome.uk.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves; material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
